Yesterday we were supposed to try out Cardenas as it's being run by the same people that are running Fairfax, one of our default hang outs... but as it turned out, was booked for a wedding and we found ourselves stuck in Ebisu without any proper dinner plans. Note to self; always call restaurants in advance. Walking around in despair we came across little French place called BISTRO Le Puits d'or. I've been starving for French after La Dinette, a neighborhood French, closed down awhile back, so it was nice to find something new - even if it's a bit far away. Absolutely recommended, with tasty "home cooked" food and a good selection of French wines. Especially their lamb was totally awesome.
